At India Home Appliances Repair, we aim to provide transparent and fair service practices. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms related to service cancellation, inspection charges, and refunds.

Service Cancellation
You may cancel a service booking under the following conditions:
✔ Customers may cancel a service request before the technician visit without any cancellation charge.
✔ Cancellation requests made after technician dispatch or at the time of visit may be subject to inspection charges.
✔ After Technician is Assigned / On the Way.
If the technician is already on the way, a visit charge may apply depending on distance and time invested.
Inspection Charges
✔ An inspection charge may apply when a technician visits the customer’s location to diagnose the appliance issue.
✔ If the customer decides not to proceed with the repair after inspection, the inspection charge, if applicable, is non-refundable.
✔ Inspection charges, if any, will be informed to the customer before inspection.
Refund Policy
✔ Refunds are applicable only in cases where payment has been collected but the service was not delivered
✔ No refund will be provided for completed services or approved repairs.
✔ Refunds do not apply to inspection charges once the inspection has been completed.
Refund Processing Time
- Approved refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7–10 working days.
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method, where possible.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Customer declines repair after inspection
- Appliance cannot be repaired due to condition, age, or part unavailability
- Delays caused by customer unavailability or incorrect information
- Services completed as approved by the customer
Service Limitations
Service availability depends on technician presence and location. We do not guarantee service availability in all areas or situations.
AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) Refunds
AMC Plan refunds are possible only under the following:
✔ Full Refund (Before Service Starts)
If no technician has visited yet, you can request a full refund.
If no technician has visited yet, you can request a full refund.
✔ Partial Refund (After First Visit)
If service has started (1st visit completed), a partial refund may be given after deducting:
- Cost of first service
- Any parts replaced
- Administrative charges
No Refund After 2nd or Later Visits
- Once two or more AMC services are completed, no refund is applicable.
Mode of Refund
Refunds are processed via:
- UPI
- Bank Transfer
- Account credit / wallet credit (customer choice)
Refunds take 2–7 business days depending on bank processing speed.
Rescheduling Policy
You may reschedule service free of cost, if:
- You notify at least 2 hours before the scheduled slot
- Technician has not already reached your location
If the technician is already at your location and the service cannot be performed due to customer unavailability, a visit charge may apply.
Policy Updates
India Home Appliances Repair reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective once posted on this page.
